Christmas Card

Hello all. 🙂

I have another card today, this time for the CASE Study Challenge #210. Unfortunately this will be the last CASE Study…indefinitely. 😦 I’m pretty sad about that, even though I more than understand the reasoning behind it. I only have the one sweet little guy and I didn’t get to craft all summer! I couldn’t let the last one go by without playing along so, without further ado, here is the muse’s card,

CSC210

Absolutely gorgeous, no? It reminded me of a Christmas card, even though it’s not really, so here is my card,

It’s the first Christmas card of the season! 🙂 It’s hard to tell in the pic, but the stars on the circle are shiny gold. I mixed some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine Spray with some Golden Artist Color Regular Gel and used a stencil 😉

Hope you like it!

Yay, I’m back for a second time this week (well sort of, LOL!) This time I’m trying out the CAS-ual Friday’s Let It Snow Challenge 🙂

Here is my card:

38I was actually trying a different technique (embossing w/ die cuts) and I just could not get it to work in my BigKick. 😦 Oh well, I think I salvaged my die cut pretty well though. I ended up really liking this card. 🙂

Hope you like it too!

Long time no craft! It’s been hectic over here for awhile…we had our annual Halloween party, my boss told us all she was pregnant and since I work at a dance studio it means more work delegated to the rest of the instructors (not a bad thing, just less time for me), then I got sick, then my DS got sick with Pneumonia, then we had Thanksgiving, then…etc…the list goes on and on as I’m sure you all know because such is life 🙂

Anyway, I’m (finally) here today with my take on the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #144 Challenge: Embossing on Vellum.

Here is my card:

Hi, again, today. 🙂 I have made a card for this weeks Make It Monday challenge, which is to use textured stamping (by swiping the ink pad on your stamp.) It’s a really fun and super easy technique that can give you some texture using only your stamps and inks. 🙂 Here is my take,

36The technique works best on solid or silhouette stamps, so I used my Star Of Wonder stamp set and the Bethlehem stamp. I thought the swiping gave the buildings a nice texture, don’t you think? I have started to get into Christmas cards…all of my Halloween ones were made and sent earlier this month, but I can’t guarantee that there won’t be a few more popping up here and there…if I have enough time, LOL!

Hope you like it!

Just a quick card to share today for the “Less is More” Green and Red challenge. Hopefully I will have a bit more time later to work on some more cards. I have the crafting “bug” today. Lol!

I’ve had this idea for awhile now, but wasn’t quite sure how to execute it…I thought maybe I wanted patterned paper to fill in the hexagons, but I’m glad I went with stamping. Although, I may try it again with some patterned paper later today (toddler willing 🙂 LOL.)

Hope you like it!
