Love Card

I’m here today with not one, but TWO cards for this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch! I was having too much fun with my new, thicker water color paper and ink smooshing. 😉

Here is the sketch:

So cool, right?! Here are my two cards:

Hello. 🙂 I made a card for the Muse Challenge this week. I actually made it last night, but it was too dark to get a good pic, so I waited until this morning. 🙂

Here is the Muse card,

MUSE guest

I was inspired by the heart shape and the coupling of the bears. I don’t have any cute stamps like that, so I thought about what I could do with hearts and “coupling” the hearts and this is what I was inspired to do,

*ETA* A wonderful commenter from CASology told me I could also link this card up with Addicted to CAS. I’ve never linked up with this challenge before, so I’m excited!!! The DT is awesome and there are some really cool entries!

Yay for getting to participate in the CASology Challenge this week! My PTI order arrived in the nick of time 😉 Here is the challenge this week,

Week 88 - LuckyI ordered the Wonderful Words dies and one of the words is…

32LOL. 🙂 I wanted to layer a bunch of the lucky die cuts in a pile, but then I realized you couldn’t tell what it said, so I settled on two with a green theme 🙂 I was kind of going for a sort of shadow effect, but I didn’t want it to look too “organized.” LOL, I still wanted a little bit of an off beat-ness to it…is that a word? Or phrase? O well, 🙂 I also used stamps from two different sets to complete the sentiment. I love it when stamps play well together. 🙂

Hope you like it!

181If you’ve been around here before you know I LOVE The Sweet Life Stamp Set from PTI. Making elegant cards is a cinch with this stamp set. That is what I was inspired by in this card, the background. Here is my take,

25I stamped one of the single roses with Fresh Snow Pigment ink and let it dry, then stamped over it with Pure Poppy Dye Ink. I love that cool, color shadow trend going on right now 🙂 I stamped them all a little bit differently just for some fun 🙂

Hope you like it!

CTS_Sketch_67And here is my take,

24For the circle in front I embossed it first (using the Center Stage Cover Plate by PTI) then I used a die cut of the same die to mask it off and then I used my trusty ink pads and blank CD case to water color the stripes. 🙂 I rather like how it turned out…it’s a bit different for me. 🙂

Hope you like it!
